Good News appropriates an article in a 1980 issue of Ebony Magazine entitled, What They Say About The Men In Their Towns. I’ve silkscreened text by black women commenting on the eligibility of black men in their cities, however I've re-imagined the article’s focus. My handmade gestures re-position the subject of the essay to highlight what it would be like to read remarks by women speaking about the women they desire.
