Work It: Johannesburg is a looping video shot along a busy urban sidewalk. The slowed footage and distorted audio, Missy Elliott's song Work It, adds colorful commentary about gender, sexual desire and cultural diversity. This work was exhibited in Transfer Lounge an exchange project addressing issues of mobility and transition by artists from Spain and the U.S.
