This work consisted of print media and interaction with the public. Cards displaying quoted lyrics from popular female and male rap artists highlighted specific slang terms. The card recipient was asked to define/translate the terms. Conversations that ensued were the most interesting element of this exercise. Surprisingly, participants didn't question my authority on the subject.
